Reporting directly to the CFO, the Controller will be responsible for overseeing the organizations plant locations, processing payroll, analyzing financial information, spotting errors, recommending system improvements, managing staff, and assisting with audits. The Controller is a key member of the plant leadership team and offers high visibility within the company.Controller Responsibilities:
- Manage plant accounting department
- Coordinate month, quarter, and year-end closing processes, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Produce financial statements and budgets
- Assist in processing weekly payroll
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard inventory assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Direct internal and external audits and reviews
- Manage the end-to-end payroll processes
- Lead and develop a high-performing accounting team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures

- Experience within the manufacturing industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA or MBA a plus
- Proven experience as a Controller
- Strong cost experience
- Management experience
- Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to stakeholders at all levels
- Exceptional leadership abilities and a track record of building and managing high-performing teams
